The Outreach Program was established to connect with, serve the needs of and become part of the Stamford community.

Over the years, we have provided hot meals to the New Covenant House, Giving Trees at Christmas time for Malta House sheltering mothers and their children, we have provided fun holiday lunches to community seniors, and continue to be of active service to those in need.

Our ongoing connection to the community is to provide the following services: Collect and transport groceries for New Covenant House, cook and transport meals for the soup kitchen at New Covenant House, drive parishioners to and from Mass, visit the shut-ins of our parish, help prepare and serve the twice annual Senior Luncheons, provide blood pressures on first Sundays, cook for the sick or those recuperating from hospitalization, pick up or deliver one of our two daily bagel routes which benefit New Covenant House, assist in fund raising events on behalf of Malta House, send cards to those who are ill, bereaved or just need some extra contact.

Soup Kitchen – Cook and deliver meals to New Covenant House

Grocery Donations – Gather the donations dropped off at the church and deliver to New Covenant House – Need Volunteers

After Mass Coffee Gathering Clean Up – Remove the remnants of the food, cups, clean and put away coffee pots etc. – Need Volunteers

Visits to Shut Ins – Cooking for sick or those recuperating from hospitalization – Need Volunteers

Senior Luncheons – Provide festive lunches for our seniors in the community - Need Volunteers

Transportation for Parishioners – Driving those in need to doctor appointments, mass, shopping – Need Volunteers

Bagel & Donut Routes – Collect day old baked goods from designated donation sites - Need Volunteers

Malta House Fund Raising – Planning activities for fund raising for the benefit of Malta House who caters to the needs of homeless mothers and their children – Need Volunteers

Bereavement Help – Extra contact for those who would like to talk and share their experience of loss – Need Volunteers
